Samantha and Nicholas’ beautiful celestial garden wedding was filled with so much love and celebration.
While planning their wedding, they knew they wanted to get married in a garden. Once they found their venue, they had a landscape architect source live potted plants and planners for down the aisle and their florist enhanced the ceremony with a large beautiful romantic arch.
Down to the little details, Samantha and Nicholas made their wedding their own. Samantha created the beautiful stationery and signage, which was inspired by the celestial themes of her veil. During cocktail hour, they had guests participate in a Puppy Poll — where guests helped choose the next breed of dog the couple would adopt!
Bringing the garden themes inside, Samantha had a vision of hanging florals at their reception — and their florist delivered! They created a beautiful romantic meadow that even made Nicholas’s jaw drop when he saw it! The party continued with the band that kept the dance floor busy with the kids dancing their hearts out! For their wedding cake, they chose a Matcha Cloud Cake from their favorite bakery.
A lesson they learned from wedding planning?
“Details matter, but usually not the ones you think!”
Samantha said one of the most important details was ensuring all the vendors were working off the same timeline! They were able to pull off all of this thanks to their amazing wedding planner who kept track of all the minutiae that her and Nick didn’t even know to think or ask about!
One of their favorite vendors of the day was their band! This was their first wedding and wanted to make it everything the couple wanted — even learning new songs, including Wildflowers by Tom Petty for the father/daughter dance, and I Want It All by Queen and the Pokemon theme song for the reception.
