The Perfect Fall Brunch Wedding

Paula always dreamed of having a garden brunch wedding. For their fifth wedding anniversary, they ate dinner at Harry’s, the restaurant at Airlie. After dinner, they strolled through the gardens discussing what a beautiful venue it was and how perfect it would be for their wedding. After getting engaged, Dylan filled out the request form and the rest was history!

Dylan and Paula are music lovers! They’ve been to over 50 concerts together, so they wanted their wedding day to reflect their love of music. This started with their Save the Dates! The couple created magnets that resembled concert tickets paired with a recreation of the album The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan. They created their seating chart with concert albums that they couple have seen together.

Leaning into the brunch theme, the guests were welcomed with a “Bliss Bulletin” newspaper, which included a timeline of the day, couple fun facts, a crossword, a word search, and a map of where all their guests traveled from. As an additional nod to their theme, guests enjoyed chocolate covered espresso beans and their favorite coffee as a wedding favor.

During their wedding ceremony, after Dylan shared his vows, he slammed his booklet shut and told Paula that he had been keeping a secret! The best man slipped out a foldable keyboard and Dylan performed “Grow Old With You” from The Wedding Singer! The two celebrated their marriage by breaking the glass, a Jewish tradition. After the wedding, they sent the glass to be made into a vase they can look at and remember for years to come!

Their love-filled day was full of music and celebration by the people they love most! Amative Creative caught all these beautiful details from early morning getting ready portraits, to the brunchy details, to surprise piano sessions, and all the happiness throughout their day!
